Alma & Paulo's intimate Cornish Wedding

I love a simple wedding, little or no fuss, just love and happiness! Alma and Paulo wanted a small stylish wedding and achieved it perfectly, showing that a winter town hall elopement wedding can be just as special as a big summer occasion.

What I really noticed about the day was how much it reflected the couple; it was laid back, relaxed and effortlessly stylish. Alma looked absolutely stunning in her cute lace dress, with black and red accents and brightly coloured bouquet. The groom Paulo looked amazing in Paul Smith too!

The service was short and informal as the couple exchanged simple gold bands and signed the register. After the ceremony the couple and their guests took to the steps outside the Town Hall, a perfect opportunity for me to shoot group photos of the wedding party. After the ceremony we all headed off to the wonderful reception venue. I was snapping as we walked and managed to get some lovely moments of the couple with the as they relaxed now the formalities were over.

I love these photographs, I was only there for one hour but managed to capture all the key elements that made the occasion so special for them.
